Minted Yogurt Drink

Sometimes the Dukan diet can be pretty plain in the PP days and you need something more than water to cool yourself down on the hot summer days and that is when I started making this  Minted Yogurt Drink , Ayran. I was familiar with the drink from my Anatolian vacation when I was using and abusing this delicious drink. Now my recipe is very similar to plain Aryan but there is mint added to provide the refreshing taste desired on the summer days

Ingredients for Minted Yogurt Drink :

  • 500g plain Turkish yogurt
  • 1 handful ice cubes
  • A generous pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • 400 ml water

Preparation method for Minted Yogurt Drink :

In a blender add the yogurt, water and the ice cubes and sprinkle the salt over it . Pulse it until well mixed, now you can add the mint into the mixture and blend it again for 30 seconds . Pour the mixture in glasses and serve.

That was easy isn’t it? Now is time to enjoy this refreshing drink with family and friends.
