Asian Stir Fry Beef with Veggies Recipe
There’s nothing like a good Asian style stir fry meal to satisfy my craving for red meat. Yes, I am aware that eating red meat too often is bad, but then so is everything in excess. Eaten in moderation, good quality beef is beneficial and it takes care my body’s need for protein. I always make sure to cut off the excessive fat before I start cooking this tasty Stir Fry Beef with Veggies. This is one of the very first Asian cuisine delicacies I’ve had the pleasure of eating. The recipe has since become a staple in my recipe book.
Ingredients list for Stir Fry Beef with Veggies:
400 gr beefsteak
1/4 l beef stock
1 red bell pepper
250 gr green beans
250 gr broccoli
1 tsp sesame seeds
4 tbs coconut oil
1 tbs sesame oil
2 tbs soy sauce

Cut the onions into thin rings. Clean the paprika, remove the seeds, then cut it lengthwise into thin strips. Cut off the ends of the green beans. Chop the broccoli into small florets. Cut the beef into strips. Like most Asian style recipes, this one also requires more time for the preparation of the ingredients, than for the actual cooking. Asian cuisine is quick, healthy (because the good stuff in the vegetables is not lost through endless boiling) and it tastes so good!
Brown the sesame seeds in a small frying pan. Add a few drops of oil if necessary. When the sesame seeds are browned, pour them into a small bowl. Stir fry the beef in the coconut oil, in a wok. After a minute of frying, remove the beef strips and lay them aside on a plate. You may wish to cover the beef strips with some aluminum foil to keep them warm.
Stir fry the onion rings in the remaining oil for 3-4 minutes, then add the vegetables gradually. Add the beef stock to the wok. Simmer for 5 minutes, then add the beef strips, sesame oil and soy sauce. Stir for 1 minute for the tastes to mix together.
Turn off the heat, sprinkle some sesame seeds over the Stir Fry Beef with Veggies and serve with a bowl of steaming hot rice.
